    • Synopsis
    • Tempus Fugit is a romantic science fiction comedy about time travel, love of football and, somewhat
more importantly, the end of the world.
Christopher is the rather shy and introverted owner of a clock shop somewhere in the quieter parts of London who is madly in love with Marta, a girl he sees across the square every day, but never dares to approach.
Christopher one day gets a visitor ‐ a mysterious man who claims to be from the future, and who says that he, Christopher, is the only person who can save the world from total annihilation.
The events that follow finally bring Christopher and Marta together in a race to save the world. To Christopher’s dismay it turns out that he has been chosen precisely because he is deemed to be the most insignificant person with the least effect on the world around him.
Christopher has a friend and neighbour, George, a fanatical Manchester United fan whose whole life centres around football and the upcoming Champions League final where his team are set to play bitter rivals Chelsea.
The simple, but rather odd plan to save the world from Armageddon suddenly becomes very complicated when George comes into possession of the Visitor’s means of time travel. George is prepared to do anything ‐ including having the world come to an end ‐ rather than see his favourite team humiliated in the Champion’s League...but has boring and predictable Christopher been underestimated?
