- Synopsis
- "This documentary is a personal quest led by the director on the universe of Swiss healers. This desire to make a film stems from the resonance between the latter and her childhood filled with fables and fantastic stories: grimoires, ghosts, werewolves, witches... Just like his memories, the world of the healers is full of mystery and magic.
  Dis-moi ton secret meets five healers: an inventive bonesetter who uses transformed anti-cellulite machines, a grandmother who makes secrets and blows away evil, two healers who consider themselves soul twins and who heal with four hands, and a young doctor who combines chemistry and secrets to relieve pain.
  The director is accompanied in her quest by her childhood friend Samuel Embleton, a talented illustrator. He images his thoughts through drawings. Some of them are presented to the healers in order to provoke spontaneous reactions and discussions.
  During the healing sessions, the camera observes the practice of the healers, the gestures, the know-how, the attentive listening to the patients. Interviews are conducted with the healers and focus on the origin of their knowledge: the placebo effect, beliefs, spirituality, energies, emotions, feelings. Discussions are also conducted with the consultants who relate their experiences during healing sessions.
  At the end of her quest, the director notes that modern medicine, powerful and efficient, sometimes forgets to consider patients as a whole: sensitive, energetic, spiritual beings and not only as patients. Man needs to reenchant his universe, a desire fulfilled by traditional healers. Part of the secret lies in attention and benevolence. For the rest, the interpretation varies from one spectator to another according to his beliefs."
