A young 16 year old girl living in rural Poland enters a talent contest and enlists the help of an older has-been of a man she meets while singing in a small club. Together they forge a relationship that takes them to the stages of Hungary and England while teaching them a few life lessons about love, acceptance and forgiveness along the way.
