- Synopsis
- Chef Monica has put her early years in a small provincial village firmly behind her. She severed all ties with her home town, even changed her name, and is now making quite a splash with her cooking at a popular venue in Amsterdam. When she and her boyfriend want to open a new restaurant at a dream location, she is forced to return to her roots and cut the last remaining ties. Back in the village, she soon comes face to face with her first love. Monica has to choose once again: does her future really lie in the big city?
