- Synopsis
- The true story of an impossible love…
  Georg and Grete Trakl are sibling. She’s a highly gifted pianist, he will become one of the major expressionist poets. Desperate, determined, soul mates, passionate lovers, they live an intense, incestuous, impossible love, against which they’re incapable of fighting.
  When Georg chooses to leave for Vienna, his sister Margarethe, aged 17, follows him despite all odds. She wishes to enter the Music Academy, but it is her brother whom she wants above all, totally and immediately, without compromise and against all rules. She sweeps aside all second thoughts and feelings of guilt, and inspires him to write his first fully formed poems.
  But reality is soon to seize them over: torn apart between guilt and burning love, social pressure and mad desire, this prohibited passion transcends and destroys them.
