    • The arrival of a new symbiote child illuminates the heart of a distant mountain that harbors a mysterious labyrinth of rocky monoliths.

      Elena has long wandered in search of one of these beings in the hope of healing the guilt of having let her baby starve to death. Then she witnesses that luminous phenomenon and follows it until she finds a girl emerging from her chrysalis; she cares for her like a daughter and names her Milagros. Other pilgrim seekers, telepathically summoned by this creature endowed with superhuman powers, come to the place for her transformation into chrysalises.

      But soon the peace is darkened. A ruthless group of mercenaries, commanded by Sergeant Luzon, arrives with the mission to capture the symbiote as they are considered a threat to humanity. Luzon and his men capture Milagros, after neutralizing the source of her power that resides in the light of her third eye. But Luzon loses control when he sees up close the substance exuding from Milagros' skin - a strong psychotropic that the symbiote children produce. Milagros' light hypnotizes the soldiers and drives them to commit suicide. Only Luzon survives, but he is unable to find his way out of the place, which seems to be a natural labyrinth. The sergeant succumbs to his addiction and licks Milagros' skin like a depraved animal. Elena, full of hatred, tries to kill him; but the girl, who seemed a passive victim, has been orchestrating everything. Thus, Milagros locks Luzon and Elena in a chrysalis that transports them to another dimension. The rocky labyrinth is now their purgatory.

      There, guilt torments Luzon to the point of madness, and the thirst for revenge takes over Elena, who becomes a cruel predator. After a violent hunt, they are chained by their terrifying shadows, who subject them to torture until they understand that fear is the origin of their own darkness. These torturers were actually a projection of Milagros who used the horror to show them the truth and prepare them for their evolution. Milagros grants them the vision of the countless lives in which they have hated, hurt, killed, protected, loved each other.... Forgiveness is now inevitable; the key to get out of that astral prison. And they merge in light to form a new symbiotic child.

      Milagros welcomes this being that emerges from the chrysalis. Outside the labyrinth, the symbiote children move away from the rocky mountain as more rays of light fall from the sky. Many more symbiotes have arrived.
