    • Synopsis
    • July, Montreal, Canada. Sophie Malaterre, a
      25-year old fashion illustrator,
has steeled herself for a lonely summer in the city. She has no plans,
no close friends around and no boyfriend… that is, until she hears about
an apartment-swapping site: switch.com. Sophie is in need of a change
of scenery and decides to give it a try. After all, what does she have to
      lose?
As luck would have it, she finds herself in a duplex in Paris, complete
with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Paris is everything she has ever dreamed
of and her first day there is idyllic.
But, the next morning she meets with a rude awakening: as the police
break down the apartment door, Sophie discovers she is sharing her
apartment with a headless corpse. She has no way of proving that she
is, in fact, not Bénédicte Serteaux, the owner of the premises. Sophie’s
fingerprints are on the murder weapon… Bénédicte’s passport has Sophie’s
photo in it. The walls close in.
      Sophie hasn’t only switched flats…
      She’s also switched identities…
