    • Vladimir’s grew up in the freezing Russian streets. He lives a hand-to-mouth life, in order to look
after his ill mother. In Vladimir’s life, there is no place for any other person except his mother
Costanza. In the past, the woman was a great soprano and she shared her passion and her singing
talent with her son. However, the boy shuns his gift, because it reminds him of his mother’s
unhappiness. She abandoned her career when Vladimir’s father left her and their newborn baby.
As a sign of fate, Vladimir’s life will radically changes during the performance of the “Bohème”:
Costanza sitting in stalls next to her son, feels her life slowly slipping away during the performance.
Immediately before dying she begs her son to go to Italy and meet the man who left them many
years before: Gabriele, his father. Vladimir is upset for his mother’s last wish but he’s convinced to
      honor the oath.
Upon his arrival in Verona, Vladimir faces a hard impact with reality and his first meeting with
Gabriele seems disastrous. A fortuitous encounter with a young girl will be the only reason that
makes him stay. Vladimir starts performing only to gain some money and when he displays his
great voice Veronica moves close to him. They have already quickly met before, but this close
encounter throws them in a sentimental whirl of attraction.
The echo of Vladimir’s voice stroke the ears of Tommaso, the Volo’s manager...
