- Synopsis
- Kota and his best friend, Shinji, once spent their teen years worshipping a girl named Chika, whom they had dubbed “Goddess of the Milky Way.” When one day Chika fell prey to a traffic accident, Shinji sacrificed his own life to save hers. Kota, who now works in a frozen foods factory, finds himself reunited with Chika ten years later. The two vow to meet on the anniversary of Shinji’s death each year in hopes of coping with the loss they’ve never gotten over. But with each meeting, Kota’s feelings for Chika grow.
