- Julien spends his time fixing old clocks. When he discovers the secret of the rich and beautiful Madame X who deals in stolen antiques, he decides to blackmail her. What he doesn’t know is that she has an even more dangerous secret leading to Marie, a woman who haunts his dreams and who mysteriously reappears. The beautiful Marie seems incapable of physical feeling, yet the couple go as far as a man and woman can go, until they reach a place where questions of life and death no longer exist.
