- When Anna’s Aunt Belle gets a new movie star neighbor, Martin, she’s shocked to learn a month later that the two are engaged. Convinced that Martin, who may just be looking for a new fling, is duping Belle, Anna flies to Seattle to stop the wedding. There, Anna meets Clay, Martin’s son, and learns that Clay is also trying to stop his dad from jumping so quickly into another marriage. The two agree to team up to stop their impulsive relatives from getting married. As Anna and Clay fail again and again in sabotaging Martin and Belle’s relationship, they begin to bond and fall for one another. It isn’t until they begin to discover the true meaning of love that Anna and Clay start to think that maybe they’ve been wrong about their relatives’ relationship, and maybe themselves, all along.
