- STARS OF AGADEZ unravels the compelling tale of Etran de L’Aïr, a band of brothers from Agadez, Niger. Navigating the delicate balance between their roots and a global tour, the film offers a poignant reflection on self-perception and cultural exchange. STARS OF AGADEZ introduces audiences to the music of the Sahara desert's southern rim, heavily influenced by guitar heroes of the 70's and 80's, and uncovers a sonic legacy secluded from the world. Directed by Alex Bittan and produced by 3 Raum Produktionen in collaboration with Sahel Sounds, the documentary goes beyond traditional music genres, blending elements of concert film, music video, and anthropological exploration.
