- Synopsis
- Spending years in the military, American soldiers dedicate their health and lives to protect our country. Now, it is our turn to help them transition to civilian life. Finding a new job, learning new skills, and understanding new rules can make veterans feel like strangers and outsiders when they get out of the service. Many veterans experience similar life challenges and situations, including under-employment, PTSD, drug abuse, health issues, and family problems. The TV program "Stand Up and Go" focuses on the successful stories of veterans who have changed their lives and found new missions. Each episode will dive into a citizen's inspiring story and will showcase the importance that a single person's history can have in influencing the lives of others in a positive way.
