- Synopsis
- Maruja and her husband Manolo were forced to escape from Spain at the end of the civil war, they been living in Paris ever
  since, but in reality what made them escape was their past, and they never been able to escape from it.
  They work as the help for an American Ambassador; Mr Jolis and his family. The Jolis are mostly overwhelmed by all the
  social gatherings they have, thus their son Alan, has almost been brought up by their employees.
  This year Maruja has learnt something that will encourage her to confront her past and return back to her origins in a trip to
  Spain where she would have to secure that Alan will grow up to be a good man. Manolo in doing so will be challenged by the
  secrets their marriage had buried long ago.
  Will they be able to come back from this trip stronger or would their secrets destroy this unconventional family?
