    • Synopsis
    • The film is a long journey along the three routes that trace the path of the most important water transfer project in the world, stretching between South and North China. By travelling across the country, along diverted rivers and half-finished canals, it is possible to understand the consequences of the project and to grasp the metamorphosis of a landscape transfigured by human needs. By following this battle against nature, Antoine Boutet wishes to reveal the realities of a world being swallowed up in its own desires by political will and ideological blindness, and slowly evolving into an economic and social laboratory.
