    • Synopsis
    • Fifteen-year-old KERI struggles for breath as she returns to consciousness, battered and bruised, adrift on a swell of debris that is quickly washing out to sea. The vanishing shoreline is a cacophony of sirens, screams and destruction. In an instant, her day at the beach, her idyllic American family vacation and her life as she knew it, is vanquished by a massive TSUNAMI.

A massive corroded cargo ship looms over top of her. An old fishing net is thrown down and she makes the arduous journey to the rusty deck where bedlam is occurring; a drowned Italian woman whose husband struggles with CPR, an injured woman, SEO-YEON, in a scuba suit with half her arm torn away and staring daggers at her, and MACK a serious looking Malaysian policeman that has obviously had his own struggle with Mother Nature. A few other mysterious and dangerous survivors are also rescued.

This is not a rescue ship. It’s a derelict freighter drifting further out to the vast ocean. No one speaks the same language.

Keri’s battle for survival has just begun.
