- Synopsis
- American writer and retired military, Steven, lives alone in the historical Rome apartment he has occupied for thirty-seven years. He has outlived his Italian wife. His only daughter, now an adult, living on her own and wanting to move on with her life, struggles to find time to visit. When he suffers a stroke, leaving his left arm and leg paralyzed, even his housekeeper cannot keep up with him. They hire a young caregiver, Luca, to support Steven’s needs which, unknown to others, could also mean murder.
