- Synopsis
- A song for Juliette begins when Julie, 35 years old and deaf, becomes aware of the monotony that pervades her existence. She is married to Omar, but their marriage has lost its luster. Omar no longer fulfills her romantic expectations and the future seems like a "morning of fog".
  
  Caught between the grip of her fantasies and the strength she draws from the familiar facets of her life—her son, her grandmother, and her newfound position at a local film production set around Goethe's Faust—Julie grapples with a melancholic state as she contrasts her dreams with the banality of her life.
  
  The tale of Faust serves as a poignant reflection of her internal turmoil, with its characters abstractly mirroring the hidden depths beneath her own surface.
  Despite her grandmother's objections, who advocates for the importance of effort in a marriage, Julie refuses to relinquish her yearning to explore her own fantasies. Her life takes an unexpected turn as she meets Arthur.
  
  Initially, Julie and Arthur cultivate a platonic connection, but their meetings are more frequent, intimate, and tinged with an affection that remains only partially acknowledged. However, their friendship takes an unexpected turn when she receives a message from Arthur in the form of a poem by Hafiz.
  Despite the initial resistance, they both succumb to their desire, embarking on a passionate affair.
