- Synopsis
- A disheveled middle aged man wakes at dawn on a pebbled beach, named Sam, makes his way into to the small New England town, where he meets Kate, who runs a weathered motel and diner. As Sam and Kate tentatively navigate their deepening feelings for one another, the mystery of Sam’s presence in town starts to reveal itself. He has driven across the country to try to reconnect with the daughter he left long ago. Can Sam get far enough out of his own way to finally make amends?
