- Synopsis
- Somaliland portrays the journey of students at a privately funded boarding school in war torn Somaliland who want to have a chance to study in the US in the hopes of returning and rebuilding their country. The access to these students, their highs and lows, and the contrast between their resources and those in the US are staggering. The last act of the film delivers in a way you never can imagine.
