- Synopsis
- Nelson is a 45-year-old musician in Uruguay’s Air Force band, and has played the trumpet for more than 20 years. After his wife leaves him, Nelson falls into a depression, believing he has not achieved anything of significance in his life.
  A music contest in town presents Nelson with the opportunity he has been longing for - to showcase his abilities and possibly achieve his dreams of stardom. At the same time, the Air Force presents Nelson with the possibility of an impending promotion but he would have to travel to Antarctica on the exact date of the contest’s finale.
  Nelson must choose between his military career and the pursuit of a life- long dream.
