    • Synopsis
    • Sodura is a girl of the Taiga. She spends much of her childhood in the Taiga and decides to relocate to the city. She finds herself unable to adapt to the city lifestyle and in the end returns to the Taiga heartbroken and disappointed. Her tribe blames her for coming home pregnant with an outsider's child. The only person that understands her sorrow and loneliness is Ak-od, with whom she falls in love with. Unfortunately, Ak-od is forcibly engaged and married off to Ayana. During this time a fire breaks out in the Taiga. As the tribesmen seek to put out the wildfire they encounter pouchers. They realize that the pouchers have killed the last remaining reindeer. Ak-od is accused of assisting the pouchers and loses his life while trying to prove his innocence. It becomes clear that Ak-od's childhood friend Majir is the traitor who betrayed his tribe. Sodura, who lost the love of her life gives birth to a son. The shaman woman Aldyn-khiye wishes to raise her son and sends Sodura away to become an envoy to help preserve the Taiga and it's people. She then reveals to Sodura that she is not originally from the Taiga. Sodura embarks on a journey to fulfill the mission of her adoptive father to protect and preserve the lives of the Reindeer people. She envisions her life ahead and dreams of the possibility of meeting her birth mother...
