- Synopsis
- One of the last good cops around, Hong Kong detective Bennie Black (Chan) has been tracking dangerous crime boss Victor Wong for over a decade. When Bennie’s beautiful, young niece Bai (Fan Bingbing) gets into trouble with Wong’s crime syndicate, he comes to the rescue and must track down the only man who can help her: fast-talking American gambler Connor Watts, on the run from the same mob and a dangerous Russian assassin. Eventually catching up with Connor in Siberia, Bennie races against the clock to bring him back to Hong Kong and the unlikely pair embark on a hilarious and perilous adventure from the windswept dunes of the Gobi Desert to the rocky spires of the Huangshan Mountains. Cultures collide in this action buddy comedy that takes us to places on earth that we’ve have never seen before.
