    • Synopsis
    • In a small town somewhere in Taiwan lives Seiya, a warm and beautiful woman in her late-thirties. Seiya moved from Macau to Taiwan 15 years ago with her husband. One day at her home, Seiya discovers a missing person ad in the papers with her name. Her best friend in Macau, Kay, had just passed away and old friends there are hoping Seiya could attend the funeral. Seiya recalls her younger days with Kay in the 1990s. It was Kay who got Seiya her first job at a massage parlor and invited Seiya to live at her home. Seiya and Kay’s friendship deepened when Kay discovered she was pregnant. Seiya promised she would raise the baby with Kay like a real family. The arrival of Kay’s baby boy, Ho, gave new meaning to the girls’ lives. But as the date of Macau’s handover neared, Kay was spending less time at home after falling in love with a restaurant owner. On the eve of Macau’s handover, the two girls had a big fight before they parted ways. Today, Macau has transformed from a quiet small town into a neon metropolis. Seiya is re-united with Ho, who is now a handsome 18-year-old. Seiya often wondered what happened to Kay after she left Macau. Little does she expect what Ho is about to reveal: Kay has kept a promise to Seiya she never knew...
