    • Synopsis
    • In his unfinished documentary project, film maker Igor Galuk tries to record the stories of the people living on the banks of Río de La Plata, in South America. Some years later, he finds some film negatives over half a century old which had been shot at the same river, as well as the last chronicle of the late writer Haroldo Conti on the state of that river bank. These findings make him reconsider the meaning of his own abandoned film. In that film, the director goes on a one-year trip going over the ghosts still dwelling on the island. Silence on the Riverside is an audiovisual chronicle into the deep bush as well as into its people. It is a creation documentary: social, reflexive and poetical narated in the first person.
