    • Every death leaves a mark, but some death leaves a mark even before birth. Ruba finds herself pregnant, but she doesn’t dare to share the news with anyone. Living in an orthodox society, she needs to get married first to keep her baby. Ruba's mother is in the USA with her immigrant brother and the cancer-ailing father. She wants her to get married, and migrate to join the rest of her family. The self-censored time has taken grip over Ruba’s soul. She spends sleepless nights closed in her own cocoon, while her boyfriend still lives in the utopia of a lost revolution. Gunmen attack an upright district cafe killing dozens of foreigners. Ruba’s nightmare comes true, plain-clothed security men break-in her apartment looking for conspirators against the state! In a city of millions Ruba struggles to to salvage the life breathing in her womb. Ruba decides to abort the baby and allows death to write an epitaph of the time.
