    • Synopsis
    • While on an undercover mission to rescue a hostage in the Pakistan-Afghanistan border hills, Tom Wisher, a youthful CIA agent, is betrayed by Bill Blake, his corrupt handler.
      Forced to fatally compromise his objectives, Wisher manages to escape from the ensuing chaos in a firefight. But he is pursued relentlessly by law enforcement agencies worldwide, who mistakenly believe that he – not Blake – is the double agent behind the sale of nuclear materials to Islamist insurgents. The chase ends in England with Wisher apparently shot dead by a SWAT team.
      But Wisher has not been killed: instead he has been abducted by a secret collective of assassins who plan to recruit him to their cause. This clandestine group work target major international criminals, arms dealers and spies who operate beyond the reach of states and governments.
      Offered the chance to get revenge on Blake, Wisher chooses to join forces with his rescuers, and embarks on a quest spanning several continents to clear his name.
