    • Synopsis
    • When High school senior Anne’s casual nature with drugs and alcohol nearly gets her killed, it is only because of chance encounter with her estranged father, Adam, that she survives. As dramatic as this event was there still remains a rift between these two, a rift so wide it ends in Anne smashing Adam’s car.
Anne’s outbursts and hair trigger rage has frayed her relationship with her mother to the point of breaking. Add to that her not so subtle distaste for her step-father Tony, and a half-sister still too young to confide in about her troubles. It’s no surprise that Adam and his Gym become an unlikely but welcome refuge from all the chaos of her life. Being forced to work for and spend time with Adam as repentance for her actions, eventually starts to thaw her defenses toward her father. The kinship that forms as a result, births her interest in Boxing as an outlet for her rage. A rage she feels like she is slowly losing control of.
Nothing seems to quiet the dark haunting dreams that so often visit her in her sleep, though. It is clear she is harboring a secret that is eating her from within and Tony her step-father is somehow at its center.
