- Synopsis
- The Battle of Sekigahara takes place in 1600, between the Western Army led by Mitsunari Ishida (Junichi Okada) and the Eastern Army led Ieyasu Tokugawa (Koji Yakusho). Ieyasu Tokugawa attempts to keep a hold of the nation within his greedy grasp, while Mitsunari Ishida goes to war out of loyalty for the Toyotomi clan.
  
  Even though the Western Army is believed to outnumber the Eastern Army, Ieyasu sends ninja Hatsume (Kasumi Arimura) to spy on Mitsunari, who eventually falls in love with him. Love, honor, justice and ambition lead inevitably to the big battle, which will shape the course of history of Japan.
