- Synopsis
- During World War II, the friendship between Tuur (12), who’s dad is part of the Dutch resistance, and Lambert (12), who’s dad is involved with the Dutch National Socialist movement, is put under pressure. When both boys become friends with Maartje (13), a new girl who moved into the village, and she decides to tell her big secret (she is Jewish) only to Tuur, the friendship between the boys is torn away. This sets off a chain of fatal events.
