- Synopsis
- Based on the true story of courage and leadership of Braz Nogueira, educator turned principal of a public school in Heliópolis, one of the biggest slums in Brazil. Upon accepting the job, he faces constant fights, exhausted teachers who do not connect with the students, neglect of the authorities and a territory under the domain of violence. But his empathy speaks louder and, with an innovative pilot project, he integrates the students, teachers and community leaders, transforming not only the school, but the community around it.
