  Is Globalisation a modern development? Not really.
  The world of souls has always been global.
  If a human soul has achieved a special ‘Karma’ through its actions or deeds on earth, like Ghandi for instance, it is destined to accomplish higher tasks in its next life and therefore might become the ruler of the most powerful nation in the world, like Barack Obama for example. A soul like George W. Bush, however, would only be reborn as a mouse or a skunk considering how much disaster and pain he has inflicted upon the world.
  There is one country in the world whose citizens do celebrate their faith in
  reincarnation in a special way: the Indians. In India high-speed trains must stop and wait till sacred Hcows have left the tracks as humans do not know which soul has been reincarnated in the cow.
  In a remote area of Darjeeling, at the bottom of the Himalaya lies a small village where the old and wise Sarup is living. He was only 19 years old, when his beloved wife Aditti died. He blames himself although she died in an accident. For the past 56 years Sarup has been living a lonely life.
  Sarup has special capabilities. He can see what is depressing a human soul, starts heeling processes and transmits energy from one body to another. He makes many people strong and gives them back their long lost confidence. But some people are also scared of his abilities and knowledge about souls and reincarnation.
  It is comforting to know that there is also the Karma – police who makes sure that in between all the different cycles of reincarnation nothing gets mixed up. The police also controls that “seers” like Sarup do not fool around with their skills as the capabilitiy to ‘see’ has not been given to them for their own personal advantage. Human beings with these capabilities are supposed to help other people who are experiencing difficult situations in their lives and to encourage them to deal with these circumstances.
  One day Sarup’s life changes completely:
  His niece Shanti is sent to him to be taught the traditional Indian life. Shanti falls in love with the German backpacker Nico, whom she met in her hometown ...
  Her father is totally upset when she wants to go to Germany because of Nico. The father takes her to Sarup, wanting her to become ‘normal’ (wanting to make her come back to her senses) and learn to live a life full of tradition and respect.
  But Shanti does not give up. So even in Sarup’s small village – in the middle of nowhere – she organizes to read European magazines and newspapers.
  Then something strange happens: Sarup looks at a photo of Angela Merkel and believes that Aditi’s souls was reborn in Angela Merkel’s body.
  Sarup must travel to Europe and see the eyes of Angela Merkel to find out the truth. Shanti is only too happy to accompany Sarup on the journey because he needs somebody to translate and help him to find his way around in a modern European society.
  But he is not sure how to get in touch with the German chancellor who is protected by every means of high security. Sarup does not only arouse the anger of the Karma-police but through his actions he finds himself increasingly in conflict with the German laws.
  Meanwhile Shanti gets to know that her beloved Nico has a German girlfriend.
