    • Synopsis
    • In 2014-2015, dozens of racial police shootings and jailhouse deaths in cities all across America were causing aggravated tension in an already divided America. In midst of this, in Waller County Texas, where race has always mattered, a motorist named Sandra Bland was pulled over for a minor traffic violation just one day after moving there to start a new life. A confrontation with the officer ensued, Bland was arrested and after a three day ordeal of needless indifference and cruel treatment within the criminal justice system, she was found dead… hanging in her cell by a noose, made from a plastic garbage bag. It was ruled a suicide. She was 28 years old. The date was July 13, 2015.
