    • Synopsis
    • In one of the most arid areas of the Sahara Desert, a large part of the Sahrawi people live as refugees. Since they were bloodily displaced by Morocco in 1976, this people who were beginning to decolonize from Spain were forced into exile. In a culture of nomadic origin and oral tradition, its stories and history have been transmitted from generation to generation through poetry. It has been his way of not disappear.
Lafdal is a young filmmaker who graduated from the local film school. Together with their colleagues Mohamed and Brahim, they make short films, teach audiovisual production workshops, and organize exhibitions and debates within their community. They believe that now it is cinema's turn to take the place of poetry. Cinema is the peaceful weapon that they decide to use in their battle against oblivion.
