- Synopsis
- In the spring of 1986, a symbol of the cult was stolen from the Gniezno Cathedral - a figure of Saint Wojciech carved in silver from a Baroque reliquary. A lieutenant of the militia, played by Mateusz Kościukiewicz, establishes cooperation with the clergy - the hosts of the Cathedral. Both sides are striving to recover the sculpture, but cooperation is difficult because relations between the Church and the state have never been so tense. The theft took place less than two years after the death of Father Jerzy Popieluszko... Does anyone care that the mystery cannot be solved, or maybe the circumstances are extremely difficult?
