- Synopsis
- Hisada’s life isn’t going well with being stuck in a slump as a writer and being abandoned by his wife. Being less motivated, he starts to write about an old friend who he remembered by looking at a canned mackerel in the kitchen. This vividly reminds him of a summer in 1986, when he and his new friend Takemoto went on a brave journey to find a dolphin and the adventure they experienced. Based on a director’s actual childhood, the story captures about the warmth of a family and friends of good old days in 80s.
