- Synopsis
- Bullying around his mother and the social workers, who enter and leave his life in semestral turns, Ben is not appealing at first sight. The 26-year-old quadriplegic is bound to a wheelchair, and leading a "normal" relationship seems out of reach to him. His only contact with the opposite sex is watching girls from his balcony. But things change when his new social worker Christian, who seems to be immune to Ben’s sarcasm, and young cellist Annika stir up his daily routine. When both boys fall for the girl, Ben is challenged by his greatest fears: Tearing down the walls of self protection and admitting emotional as well as physical intimacy. A funny and melancholic ménage à trois unfolds, as the trio is swept away into their own world of close friendship, imagination and desire.
