    • Synopsis
    • When a film in the style of Sex & the City is filmed in Finland, the main actors are Bulgarian men in Helsinki, and the result is a good-natured comedy about a young man´s attempt at understanding what it is to be single after the break-down of his marriage. The director of the film, Tonislav Hristov, is also the protagonist who decides to look for new love. Tonislav and his three loyal friends go through etiquette training, dance lessons, grooming as well as fitness training, yet without success as the dreaded 30-year birthday arrives. On their way to a friend´s wedding on the other side of Finland the friends grow as men, at least a little bit, as they relate their dating history.
One would hope that this jolly threesome finds Finnish women, but would The One be found on Bulgarian shores, after all? Rules of Single Life is a film about men who like women and are not afraid to show their feelings.
