- A former Texas cattle rancher, has a change of heart and decides to rescue her husband's herd from slaughter. Since then, she's made it her life's work to help farmers transition from animal ag to a plant-based model. Her activism is unlike any other; she knows both sides of the story. She sees herself as part of the herd, but it's not just about saving animals, it's about the planet.
