- Synopsis
- Marina travels to Vigo to meet the family of her biological father, who died of AIDS, like her mother, when she was very little. Through meetings with her uncles, aunts and grandparents, Marina tries to reconstruct a coherent story about her father and the love story she lived with her mother, but she does not succeed: They all feel too ashamed of the couple's drug conflicts, something that Marina reminds them with her presence. It will be the teenage love story that he lives with his cousin that allows him to reimagine his parents and connect with them. In this way, she invents a story, thanks to her mother's diary, that frees her from the stigma that her family feels about them and fulfills her desire to understand the past.
