    • Synopsis
    • Iñaki and Mateo have been friends all their lives, tightly knit by their frequent “escapades” to the mountain. Mateo is rash and visceral. Iñaki is staid and sober-minded. Chalk and cheese, really, but when they get into the country, nothing separates them. No mountain is too high for them.
The years have gone by and their lives have evolved very differently. They both got married and had children very young, but while Iñaki has prospered, Mateo’s life has been a huge failure.
After not seeing each other for many years, they bump into each one night in a bar. As the night wears on, over drink after drink, they bandy with the idea of going up that 3,000 metre moun- tain they’d always talked about climbing but never got around to actually doing.
But things are now a bit more complicated. They can’t just go off like that, as they used to when they were eighteen. This time they’ll have to tag their kids along; and their dog as well.
