- Synopsis
- A young teenage boy's mother dies in a house fire in New York city and soon after he's sent to Alabama to live with his aunt and two cousins. Soon after his arrival, he's victim to terrible taunting by his classmates for being different. Adventually he gets abused by one of his cousins who is the star basketball player at their highschool. To deal with some of his pain and isolation he developes an unlikely friendship with a girl in his class who is the girlfriend of the school's bully and drug dealer.
