    • Synopsis
    • Julia has waited her entire life to put an end to her career as a sculpture teacher and finally devote herself to her life and work. Today, she can. She has just retired.

      Her mother, Marina, a woman in her nineties, is like a swallow. She spends one month at Julia’s house and the next with Juan and Esther, her son and daughter-in-law. This has been the arrangement for nearly three years. Fed up with the situation and taking advantage of Julia’s retirement, Esther decides Marina will no longer stay in her home.

      Julia is then forced to put her dreams on hold once again to take care of her mother. To help, she hires Miguel, an experienced caregiver who becomes her confidant and only friend. Yet, the coexistence between mother and daughter takes on shapes Julia cannot mold. Trapped in this new reality, Julia will try to find a way out.
