- Synopsis
- These are post-pandemic times and Javier (26), recently rehabilitated from his addiction to alcohol and drugs, seeks to vindicate himself with the people he disappointed in the past and recover the opportunities he lost. But the difficulties of finding a job, his family's financial problems and the threat of an outstanding debt with a dangerous drug dealer will make his mission to stay on the right path a challenge. One night, Javier meets Victoria, who gives him emotional support and helps him regain his self-confidence. But they both carry problems from their past romances and hide secrets; facts that make it difficult for them to get together.
  Throughout the series, Javier tries to support himself with menial jobs, is tempted to relapse into his addiction, and even gets involved in illegal businesses to get quick money with his friends, Chris and Mauricio, who lead a chaotic life and, in their own way, help Javier adapt to this new stage.
  To get rid of Ronco, the drug dealer, Javier turns to an old friend and ex-convict,
  Quique, with whom they devise a fake drug deal, where the dealer is discovered and caught by the police. Now, however, the boys are in debt to Quique, who coerces them into doing even riskier jobs than before.
  Javier and Victoria start a romance and decide to leave town together; but Javier knows that first he must settle an outstanding debt with his family, so he convinces Chris to do one last job for Quique. Everything goes well, but when they finish they are betrayed by Quique, who flees the city. Chris blames Javier for what happened and the two fight. Frustrated by what happened, Javier returns to see Alejandra, his ex-girlfriend, who destabilizes his relationship with Victoria and when she finds out she leaves Javier.
  Javier puts aside his pride and decides to look for Chris to become friends. Chris reveals that one of the businesses he was promoting has finally paid off and offers Javier a good position.
  Javier goes after Victoria, when they find her they forgive each other, but she leaves anyway to fulfill her dreams.
  to fulfill her dreams. Devastated by his loss, the protagonist faces a last moment of weakness, and is about to relapse; but he resists and understands that his difficulties are a means to find himself and perhaps finally find a new meaning to his life.
