- Synopsis
- Now in its sixth edition, Refugee Voices in Film returns to the Marche du Film in Cannes with its World Market Premiere, presenting films and programs which help bring awareness, urge immediate action and long-term response to the current global humanitarian crisis. This program focuses on the imaginative and creative efforts of filmmakers – a number of them refugees – as they document experiences of those forced to flee. Here, refugees speak out about loss and desperation, resilience and hope. UNHCR and IEFTA provide filmmaking tools and training to those affected, inviting them to tell their stories.
