    • Synopsis
    • The film explores the issues surrounding one's being 'different' and society's acceptance of them. Are only those differences that are comfortable, the ones we welcome and embrace? What about those people who are saddled with challenges that are more difficult to accommodate? Those differences that are visually un-appealing, socially confrontational, or politically incorrect. Do they deserve the same respect? Or are they doomed to live as objects of fear, ridicule, outcasts, and pariahs? The character, a young boy named Beauregard, was born with an extra Y chromosome. It's 1995 and the research of the time diagnoses him as a hyper-male... beyond alpha. He is aggressive, confrontational and scary. And, by all accounts...a bully.
