- Synopsis
- The film was inspired by the story “Lady with a dog” by the famous Russian writer, Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. A young woman comes to Bled, a winter resort. She plans to rest there for a few weeks. Where a lonely woman appears, hunters are sure to show up, too. The hunter is also on vacation. He is a police inspector by profession. The inspector and the young woman called Angela meets on the lake. He learns that she is married and that she lives near Belgrade. The walks in the village, the boat on the lake, an accidental touch and the young woman falls in love with the inspector-hunter who can hardly wait for her to return to Belgrade. The hunter remains. To amuse himself, he goes to inns where thinks about the young woman. He returns from his vacation to Belgrade, where he rents rooms in the house of a blond woman who has two children. Naturally, he is her lover and the children love him as a father. While investigation a traffic accident, the inspector meets Angela once more, and realizes that to him she is the most important thing in the world.
