    • BRIEF SYNOPSIS
JAKE (36) is an angry and self-destructive professional cage fighter. He drinks, gambles, and parties. He's consumed by an inner rage. After Jake is arrested, his manager, BRIAN, wants nothing to do with him and lets him go. No one wants to fight Jake or manage him. When his mother suddenly dies in a mysterious car accident, Jake returns home to attend her funeral and to run the family pub.
Back at home, Jake is confronted by the demons of his past, including Jake's estranged father, RICHARD, but Jake wants nothing to do with his father. He blames his father for abandoning the family and believes that Richard's life as a member of a bike gang was more important than his wife or children.
While Richard wants to put the past behind them and make amends, Jake just can't. Jake doesn't know that his reformed, former alcoholic father is sick and under a doctor's care. He's too consumed with anger.
Richard tells Jake that his brother AJ stole a large amount of cash from the gang and they want it back. Jake isn't surprised and wants nothing to do with AJ either. However, members of the bike gang rough up the pub looking for AJ.
Jake reconnects with an old girlfriend, NATASHA, who is now a cop. However, Police Officer HARVEY (30's) is obsessed with Natasha and he immediately becomes jealous of her relationship with Jake.
Jake notices a wanted poster for his brother AJ. He's wanted for vehicular manslaughter. However, Jake becomes suspicious of his mother's death when he finds a hidden trap door in his mother's room. He removes the padlock and finds two black bags of money. He leaves it in the hidden hole.
AJ contacts Jake and wants to meet with him. Jake borrows a bike from an old childhood friend GAVIN. However, Gavin betrays Jake and contacts a bike gang member, TONY, telling him he knows where AJ is.
Jake confronts AJ about their mother's death. AJ tells him that he and their mother were planning to leave town to start over. Their mother was driving when they got ambushed. She lost control of the car and died on impact. He ran and hid when the bike gang approached. He watched as the gang put his mother in the passenger seat and then they torched the car. He couldn't do anything. They framed him for the accident.
As the brothers argue, the gang members approach but AJ flees. Jake takes off to meet back up with Gavin at the station, he is nowhere to be seen.
Jake breaks into the clubhouse and is almost discovered whilst the members return.

Gavin is there. Jake learns that Gavin is working for the members. He leaves, only to be discovered, he battles a group of members, getting away.
Harvey spies on Natasha and Jake. Jake convinces Natasha to look up his mother's accident report. Natasha searches for the report but initially can't find it. She's almost caught by Harvey. Later, Natasha finds the report and shows it to Jake. Jake is surprised to see that Gavin was a witness. He realizes the report is false and that there's a major cover-up
