- Synopsis
- A contemporary psychological thriller set in New York City, Quid Pro Quo centers around ISAAC (Nick Stahl), a popular NPR reporter who receives an anonymous tip about a possible crime at a local hospital. His investigation leads him to a dangerous sub-culture of disability "wannabes," at the center of which is FIONA (Vera Farmiga), a beguiling and beautiful blonde with a mysterious past. Following her, Isaac is drawn deeper and deeper into a shadowy world of sexual taboos and psychological violence. Fiona seems to hold an important secret—but will it lead him to the truth of this dark underworld, or to a much more personal mystery -- a trauma buried deep in his own past?
