Querô is an abandoned teenager who lives alone in the vicinity of the Santos port, the largest in Latin America. Considering himself the master of his own destiny, Querô refuses to give in to the oppressing discipline of reform schools, the easy game of drug dealing and especially to the corrupt police officers who are always one step behind him. He winds up paying a very high price for his attitude. The casting of the 40 teenagers in the movie counted on acting workshops which were organized with children living in the poorest communities of the Santos Lowlands. Inspired in the work of well-known playwright Plínio Marcos, it discusses abandonment in a humane and solidary way. The project counts on the support of UNICEF and received a special recommendation from the Sundance Institute.
